Book Testimonials

“I probably use Pantone's Guide to Communicating with Color more often than any other design resource book. It’s the first book I refer to when starting a new project if I’m the one to determine the color palette. Not only does the book give a good overview of what different colors mean to a viewer, it includes more than 600 color palettes in 28 categories. Each category lists the feeling that is evoked and provides Pantone numbers for each palette – a “grab and go” feature……

Finally, the book is full of outstanding real-world examples of projects using the palettes discussed. Even if I’m working on a project with an already established color palette, I turn to this book for design inspiration.

In my opinion, this is a must-have book for any designer.”

“This past year I purchased Ms. Eiseman’s book, ‘Pantone Guide to Communicating with Color’. It was a great inspiration for color combinations. The moods and expressions of color over time and medium were very helpful.

The Hexachrome printing of the book was outstanding also, and it seemed well edited in that respect.”

“I have recently had the great pleasure of discovering and absorbing your book ‘Colors For Your Every Mood’. WHAT A DELIGHT!

Quite unintentionally, I have found myself being consulted about colors. I do enjoy the work and someday hope to aspire to your level of expertise. I assure you, your book will be on my MUST READ list for ANYONE who ever asks me to help with color again!!!!!”

“This is an excellent book, written by someone who is truly a “color expert.” After reading this book, you’ll be able to select color schemes to create intended effects. In my opinion, one of the most helpful aspects of this book was Ms. Eiseman’s list of 15 neutral colors listed on page 59. It’s easy for most of us to pick one or two colors that go together pretty well, but after that things get pretty confusing. These 15 neutral colors, which go with absolutely any color scheme, are wonderful for selecting colors from across the spectrum that will remain harmonious with any color scheme. And you might be surprised to find that colors like True Red or Midnight Navy are “neutral colors.” You will find lots of interesting details like this in the book.”
